Who we are!

Laurenz Wassinger

Laurenz Wassinger, 34 years old, is the managing partner of InterContinentalSports GmbH (Germany) and InterContinentalSports Ltda (Brazil). He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sports Business Management and has completed training as an insurance and finance specialist. As a prospective, licensed FIFA football agent, he combines academic expertise, business competence and a deep understanding of the structures and dynamics of the international football market.

After more than ten years as a football player at professional level in Germany, Laurenz knows professional football from his own experience – on and off the pitch. He brings this practical understanding to his work as a football agent. In recent years, he has already been able to accompany and manage a number of transfer processes – both in direct dialogue with players and on behalf of clubs and agents.

As the operational head of both companies, Laurenz is responsible for the day-to-day business of InterContinentalSports – with a clear focus on professionalism, efficiency and commitment. With ambitious goals and a clear focus on sustainable growth, he works consistently on expanding the international network and the long-term success of InterContinentalSports.

His aim is to organise transfer processes in a targeted manner – transparently, sustainably and with real added value for all those involved.

Diogo T. Neves

Diogo T. Neves Vasconcelos Ferreira, 41 years old, is the managing partner of InterContinentalSports GmbH (Germany) and InterContinentalSports Ltda (Brazil). He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and combines legal precision with economic foresight – two competences that make the difference in the international transfer business.
With more than ten years of experience in international transfer business, Diogo has built up an extensive network that covers the South American market in particular – with a clear focus on Brazil. He knows the cultural, structural and economic characteristics of the region just as well as the requirements of European clubs. As an experienced football agent, he has accompanied and successfully completed a large number of transfers – including transfers from South America to Europe.
Within InterContinentalSports, Diogo will assume operational responsibility for the South American market and in particular manage the activities of the Brazilian company. He manages the processes there with a strategic eye, a clear structure and a high level of realisation. His particular strength lies in the combination of intercultural understanding, analytical thinking and a precise feel for sustainable solutions in the international football transfer business. His in-depth knowledge of the market, his intercultural understanding and his target-orientated approach make him a reliable partner for players, clubs and agents who think and act internationally.

Thomas Röttgermann

Thomas Röttgermann, 64, is a shareholder of InterContinentalSports GmbH and
InterContinentalSports Ltda. and brings decades of experience as a football official and
marketing expert to the strategic direction of the company. After studying journalism, political
science and sociology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, he began his career in
professional football at Preußen Münster and Borussia Mönchengladbach, both as marketing
manager.
His further career took him to leading positions at Europe’s leading sports marketing agency
Sportfive, where he most recently played a key role in shaping international sports rights
marketing as Managing Director and member of the Executive Board.
From 2010, he took over the management of VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH and was Chairman of
the Board of Fortuna Düsseldorf from 2019 to 2022. Within InterContinentalSports, Thomas
Röttgermann acts without an operational function as an experienced driving force and reliable
authority – with an outstanding national and international network and a deep understanding of
the economic and structural requirements in professional football.
After ending his contract as CEO of Fortuna Düsseldorf, Thomas Röttgermann focussed on
consulting junior executives, clubs and associations and is also invested in several football start-
ups.
